Hello! Thanks for wanting to know a little more about us. Ed and David Kindred, father and son, have been shooting weddings and other events professionally since 1991. It is our passion. As much as we love shooting and editing video in general, our favorite subjects are always weddings. Why? Because we get to share in so much joy while shooting and know that our hard work is going to enable you later to re-experience all the emotions of the day and share them with friends, family and future generations.
As you should expect, we use high-quality audio and video equipment and are very skilled at operating it unobtrusively, but we are also artistic with our approach. We have our fingers on the pulse of emotion during your wedding, and will capture the moments you will cherish for the rest of your lives. This is always at the forefront of our thoughts.
Our style of shooting is journalistic in nature with a cinematic touch. What does this mean? Well, in a word: elegance. You're not going to see an avant garde shooting style, nor lots of computer effects. Why? Because it dates your film and ties it to a specific decade. When we entered this business, computer animations of flying hearts, exploding fireworks and spinning rings were all the rage. Can you imagine how that looks now? Our stlye is classic and timeless. We won't leave you with the equivalent of a 1970s avocado refrigerator.
We mentioned earlier that we are unobtrusive. We dress in tuxedos to blend in with the wedding party and don't move around during the ceremony. Our job is to capture your memories, not become one of them. We're sure you've seen videographers and photographers that jump all around during your wedding drawing attention away from you. That is most definitely not our style. We spend an average of 50 - 60 hours working on each wedding to produce a handcrafted film made just for you.
We are also prepared. We like to attend every wedding rehearsal so we know the layout of the church, placement of the wedding party and flowers, and order of the ceremony. If there are any issues, we get them resolved before the wedding. We also shoot a little footage during the rehearsal, which generally gets edited in to your wedding film.
Above all, our creative drive is producing a video that is a true reflection of the uniqueness of you and your wedding. We would consider it an absolute honor to be given the privilege of capturing your wedding memories. Won't you give us a call?
